‘Radiant Journey’, Friends of University Ave

Radiant Journey’ reimagines University Avenue, from College Street south to Elm Street, with a 380-meter animated lighting installation synchronized by an audio feed. The lit forms create a visual wave that can be viewed from vehicular, pedestrian and by the patients, visitors and medical staff who inhabit the surrounding hospitals.

We worked on a Strategic Framework and programming for the City of Toronto’s Year of Public Art that supported over 1400 artists in the creation of more than 300 new works. This Strategy built and fostered new partnerships across arts, government and public sector, and expanded opportunities for artists and audiences.

Humber Bay Shores Public Art

We worked collaboratively with the City of Toronto to conduct a Public Art Selection Process at Humber Bay Shores, which was tailored to address both the local neighbourhood and a broader community of indigenous artists. Led by our Indigenous Knowledge Broker, our facilitation of the selection process included process design, community and panel outreach, consultation, and creation of a public survey to gather feedback on 4 shortlisted proposals by Michael Belmore & Herman Mejia, Kris Nahrgang, Rebecca Baird and Nadia Myre.
